Crushed Under An Ice Wagon

This is a very nice large Zinc (White Bronze) monument. Located at Webb City Cemetery in Webb City, MO.

Sadly someone decided to use a marker to give his/her two cents worth.

Hamilton Zook was the son of Jesse A.  Zook, founder of a weekly newspaper called the News founded in 1881.

    gosh, what a weird way to die. it's pretty amazing how those zinc stones remain perpetually perfect...not resistant to marker though obviously.
