Update on: What Material Is This?

Thanks to Apple, a reader of this blog, she was able to find out what material the marker, I found, was made from.  It is Ceramic.  Woohoo! My first ceramic marker! She also posted a great link to an article I think is worth sharing, "Ceramic Gravestones in Missouri and Kansas."

What Material Is This?

I found this marker in the Macedonia Cemetery in Stella, Mo.  It's hollow and kind of looks like metal but I'm not 100% sure.  I was wondering if it might be ceramic.  Anyone have any clues?
